Renergen donates free use of 20 Cryo-Vacc units to help tackle potential Covid-19 4th-wave

Following Cryo-Vacc’sTM successful participation in the safe transport and storage of close to three quarters of a million Pfizer vaccinations in South Africa, it is becoming clear that the slower vaccine uptake in South Africa is causing a backlog to the distribution of vaccines, which is in turn placing pressure on the cold-chain logistics and storage of ultra-cold vaccines.

In light of the anticipated fourth wave about to grip the country, Renergen is offering the use of 20 of its Jumbo Cryo-VaccTM units at its own cost for the month of December 2021 to assist in ensuring safe transportation of the estimated 16 million doses required, from the main cold-storage facilities into the smaller vaccination sites across the country.

Said Stefano Marani, CEO Renergen: “It is Renergen’s strong belief that the level of comfort it can offer the public in ensuring that the Cryo-Vacc’sTM cold-storage chain is secure, unbroken, monitored and tracked, will offer the assurances required for people to step forward and get vaccinated to protect themselves and their loved ones, and help safeguard the citizens of our beautiful country in the fight against COVID-19”

This offer is open to any organisation currently involved in the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine roll-out.
